The CREDITSTREAM provides a robust database to address your credit reporting and portfolio management needs. The client/server design allows the information to be centralized so anyone needing access to the information is using the same data. The information in both the CREDITSTREAM pipeline and tracking components are available. Custom reports can be created from the database using tools such as Crystal Reports® or Microsoft® Access.
Information stored in the pipeline component typically relates to deals (borrowers, commitments, loans, participations, collateral, activities, items, etc.) that were imported to CREDITSTREAM from a credit origination system or a document preparation system. Once the deal has been perfected in the pipeline it is then boarded to an accounting system such as Shaw’s COMMERCIAL, LEASING, or RETAIL products. The data in the pipeline is useful for reporting such information as:
Data stored in the tracking component is typically data that has been gathered from loan accounting systems and is stored in one convenient, easy to access location. Tracking contains the current outstandings, available amounts, due dates, billing, transaction history, collateral, related borrowers, financial statement information, appraisals, and prior liens to name just a few. Reports can be produced based upon data and sequences that are important and meaningful to the intended user. The types of reports that can be created from this data are limitless. Some examples are:
If desired, data from both the pipeline and tracking components can be combined to meet reporting needs.
Any data on the CREDITSTREAM database may be selected for inclusion on reports. The CREDITSTREAM Data Dictionary contains a complete description of the data. Decode values are available to translate codes into descriptions, making the reports more user-friendly and more operationally efficient.
