CREDITSTREAM provides a graphical system for selecting data from CREDITSTREAM tables to be inserted into a word processing document, onto a web page, or printed on a fax. A user-definable translation facility is also included. The translation function allows translation of database data to more meaningful terms. As an example, the database may contain a loan type code of "2" which would have no meaning to a letter recipient. The "2" could be translated to "Major Commitment," which would be inserted into a document.

Creating a document in CREDITSTREAM is done in three simple steps. Documents can be printed immediately or queued for batch processing.

The document processor is fully integrated into CREDITSTREAM but is designed to be used stand-alone so it can integrate with other applications that require document processing, fax, e-mail, and document-saving capabilities.
