About The OU Club
The OU Club of Houston is a non-profit providing opportunities for fellowship, accomplishment, enrichment and fun to all Sooner alumni, family and friends throughout the greater Houston area. Since 1963, the Club has been a great way for Houston Sooners to connect with one another as well as the University of Oklahoma.
One of the Club’s primary objectives is to award scholarship money to outstanding high school students living in the Houston area who plan to attend the University of Oklahoma. In addition to raising and awarding these scholarships each year, the Club also assists the university with recruitment efforts at Houston-area high schools.
The OU Club also works to keep the Sooner spirit strong. Club events for Houston Sooners range from watch parties and networking functions to philanthropic events, happy hours, the annual Beat Texas party, and sponsorship of Sooner football radio broadcasts.
