Jane Brooks Volunteers at the Richmond Animal League
how much money is spent on online dating sites Jane works on Saturdays’ Dog Crew Team, cleaning kennels, walking and socializing dogs, and any chores that might be necessary. Every other Friday, Jane works for 2 hours on Dog Socialization – walking and spending time improving human relationships with some of the more timid animals. Occasionally, she substitutes for Cat Crew when needed.
RAL’s home can house up to 30 dogs and 60 cats, and finds homes for about 2,000 animals a year. There is a robust foster program in place, as well as a low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinic for folks/shelters meeting low-income guidelines. RAL is beginning to research expanding the facility to provide more community services – keep on the lookout for exciting fundraising activities that everyone can enjoy.

If you know of anyone that has a loving home in need of a furry friend, please consider Tom Sawyer. A lovable hound mix who is especially nervous and stressed at the kennel. He just can’t show his loving side with all the noise and distractions. He has had a very positive foster experience and would make a great best friend for someone willing to give the time and patience and bring out his personality. You can check him out, along with all the great furry friends at www.ral.org.
