We’ve been around since 1967 and it’s been quite the journey. Our transformation from a small low-tech company to the company we are today has been eye-opening with lots of lessons learned along the way.

We started out very small with just a few employees, older technology like typewriters and lots of paper. Now we have the latest in financial software technology, just a little bit of paper and two offices with a lot more employees, including some remote workers. We provide software solutions for several different industries including banks, credit unions, auto dealers, captive finance companies, peer-2-peer lenders, specialty lenders, and more. We offer several products including retail, commercial, auto finance, and collections software.

1967 – Shaw Systems Founded by Roy Shaw

1969 – Delivery of first commercial loan system

1974 – Installation of online commercial loan system

1975 – First Shaw user workshop

1977 – Delivery of first Retail loan system

1982 – First installation of online Retail loan system

1983 – First executive advisory board meeting

1985 – Delivery of consumer line of credit functionality

1989 – Delivery of first collections system

1995 – Collections is delivered on the PC

1998 – Client Services division launched

1999 – Enhanced Floor Plan released

2000 – Operations Workbench

2001 – SPECTRUM introduced

2002 – “Real-time” Leasing

2010s – Hosting solutions, mobile dealer workbench, alliance partners

2012 – 45 years in business
