We asked for some feedback from our associates and came up with a list of work from tips to share during this time.
Maintain Regular Hours
Set a schedule and stick to it. Having clear guidelines for when to work and when to call it a day helps.
Schedule Breaks
Take scheduled breaks. A lunch hour and two 15-minute breaks is the standard for full-time employees.
Leave Home
Get out of the house, provided you can maintain social distancing where you go. Fresh air and natural light will do you good.
Keep a Dedicated Office Space
Dedicate a desk and office space for work use.
Overcommunicate
Working remotely requires you to overcommunicate. Tell everyone who needs to know about your schedule and availability often. Mark it on your calendar when you plan on being away.
Socialize With Colleagues
One of the main ways people socialize at work when they are working from home is via business messaging apps, like Microsoft Teams.
