Enterprise Command Center

Shaw Systems continues to invest in our cloud hosting services to support your loan and financial operations. Over the past 18 months, we have migrated our hosted clients to the Microsoft Azure Cloud and built out our Enterprise Command and Security Operations Centers.

Moving to Azure Cloud has provided our clients with enhanced horsepower. A client leveraging Spectrum’s Retail, Collections and Recovery platforms saw a 25% reduction in their end of day processing times immediately following the migration. In addition to horsepower, we now offer clients the ability to scale their environments during peak periods. We can also provide scalable environments “on-demand“ for training classes or performance testing based on our clients’ individual needs.

Shaw has established the SSA Enterprise Command Center to enhance our support for our clients. In addition to our Shaw associates, we have integrated third-party service providers to expand our support solutions.

Shaw hired Lee Burkhardt as the Director of Enterprise Operations to head up the Command Center. Lee brings 20 years of technology operations leadership with him to Shaw. Over his career, Lee has led technical organizations at JP Morgan, Huntsman Chemical, and DXC.

SSA’s Security Operations Center is another area in which we have invested our resources. Cybersecurity continues to be at the forefront of the financial services and banking industries and requires specialized skills and total focus to stay ahead of the countless risks.

Shaw has partnered with Alert Logic to provide 7x24x365 monitoring and reporting of Shaw’s and our clients’ hosted environments. Should an issue arise, Alert Logic provides Shaw with round the clock incident generation, triage, reporting, and escalation. Shaw selected Alert Logic after a search for the “right” partner and leader in the industry. Alert Logic was named a 2019 Managed Security Services, Gartner Magic Quadrant “Visionary” in this space, and highlighted in Gartner’s Market Guide for Managed Detection and Response Services.

Shaw hired Brad Voris as the Cyber Security Director/Architect to lead the Information Security Program and the Security Operations Center. Brad has 20 years of experience in technology and security. He holds the following certifications: CISSP, CCSK, NSE-1, and NSE-2, among others. Brad is a U.S. Army Veteran.

Shaw has invested in developing the most secure, safe environment for our customers.
