Shaw Systems Conference 2023 Recap
The Shaw Systems 2023 Conference was an incredible success, allowing our valued clients and partners to come together to learn, share, connect, and explore.
The conference took place on May 16-19 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida. The picturesque resort provided an unforgettable setting for the conference.
This year’s conference focused on the fundamentals of Shaw’s client’s business, as well as exploring many of the groundbreaking initiatives Shaw has undertaken that will impact the industry. Being the first in-person conference since early March 2020, it was great to see so many people eager to meet face-to-face.
At the Opening Session, Shaw’s CEO, Chris Shaw, kicked off the conference sharing a message of commitment to our clients and to building the highest quality loan servicing software in the industry. Keynote speaker, Cara Brookins, author of eight books, including ‘Rise: How a House Built a Family’, shared lessons of teamwork, perseverance, and overcoming incredible odds.
Over the next few days, Shaw product experts and attendees gathered together in collaborative breakout sessions. Our clients learned and were reminded of the key requirements needed to build robust and compliant servicing strategies. Together, Shaw product experts and clients talked through the most sophisticated and challenging new business requirements our lenders are facing today and tomorrow.
Only in these intimate, face-to-face settings does such cooperation flourish. Shaw and our clients were able to make enormous strides forward in better understanding how Shaw can continue to be the leader in loan servicing software.
One of the most memorable aspects of the conference was our clients working with Shaw Spectrum experts to test-drive our real-time, web-based Spectrum platform to better understand the power of bringing all of the servicing into a single system. For our decades-long users of Shaw’s Classic systems, seeing the newer technology was an eye-opening immersive experience.
Client-led technology and business roundtables provided the perfect environment for our clients to bounce ideas and challenges off each other in a manner that is nearly impossible otherwise. When lending leaders have the shared experience of managing their businesses with the same tools, it makes perfect sense to collaborate on tips and strategies to solve shared challenges.
While there were multiple sessions happening simultaneously over several days, an overwhelming number of attendees attended Shaw’s session on digital transformation. There, we were able to provide a sneak peek at some of the ground-breaking technology being used to push the servicing industry forward to better connect with today’s digital borrowers.
As always, our conference provided ample networking opportunities. Loan servicing professionals and technology leaders were able to form and foster relationships that will benefit them professionally and personally. These interactions not only broadened perspectives but also paved the way for future collaborations and partnerships.
Our exhibitor hall was full of Shaw’s most valuable partners. Partners who, like Shaw, are leaders in the lending industry, and provide our clients with equally important tools and insight into their borrowers and portfolios.
